• Khám sức khoẻ, đo máu và cố vấn y tế miễn phí
• Cơ quan cứu hoả và cảnh sát sẽ hướng dẫn cách đề phòng hoả hoạn và an ninh trong cộng đồng.
• Hướng dẫn luật di trú: làm thẻ xanh, vào quốc tịch, bảo lãnh gia đình…

Two RVA members and 15 volunteers participated in the Chili Cook Off on Saturday, 4/19/14 at the Richmond International Raceway. Over 20,000 people attended this event this year. The RVA volunteered at the beer truck to raise money for this year Community Day. Thank you to all volunteers for your hard work. We hope you had as much fun as we did! We are planning to do this again next year. Hopefully, we will have more members to join us.

The 17th Annual Asian American Celebration will be held on Saturday, May 3th, 2014 at the Greater Richmond Convention Center, from 11am to 7pm. This year theme is “Sport & Games”. The event is sponsored by the Asian American Society of Central Virginia. Sixteen different countries from Asia participated in this year celebration. Over ten thousand people attended this event each year. This is the 9th year that the RVA participating in this celebration. At the Vietnamese food booth, we will have Vietnamese sandwiches “bánh mìgà”, spring rolls, eggrolls, and Vietnamese coffee. All profits from the food booth benefited the RVA’s Annual Achievement Awards Day.

This is our main fundraising event for the annual Academic Awards Day, where we recognize and award community students for excellence in academic performance.

Attire: Business attire preferred, NO jeans, t-shirts, or shorts for gentlemen. NO SMOKING.

Hội kêu gọi mọi sự đóng góp ý kiến, sáng tác thi, văn và tài chính của quí độc giả cho tờ đạc san được phong phú. Để tiện việc ấn loát, xin quí vị gửi bài về địa chỉ emai [email protected] trước ngày 12 tháng 1 năm 2014. Đặc san xuân sẽ được post trên web của HNV từ ngày 13 đến ngày 19 tháng 1 năm 2014 để quí độc giả theo rõi, sửa chữa những sai sót nếu có và sẽ được phát hànhy vào dịp tết Giáp Ngọ.

The 7th Annual Vietnamese Academic Awards Day is this coming Sunday (8/11) at 12:30 PM. The event will be held at Hibachi Sushi & Supreme Buffet (formerly Super King) at 8087 West Broad St. Richmond, VA 23294.

Congratulations to the below students who will be receiving wards for exemplary academic achievements. PLEASE NOTE that the STUDENT MUST BE PRESENT TO RECEIVE AWARD, and EACH STUDENT MAY BRING ONE GUEST. Richmond Vietnamese Association will cover the meal cost for each student and their one guest. If additional guests wish to attend to honor the students, they are welcome but will need to cover their own expenses. Please call 804-833-1371 if you have questions or need more info.
